An international expert in economic research, Dr. Syphoxay holds a Ph.D. in Local Management and Development from the University of Sannio, Italy, with her thesis on tourism, an MBA from Ritsumeikan Asia Pacific University, Japan, on international business management and eco-tourism, and a BA in Business Management from the National University of Laos.
She also received the prestigious Hubert Humphrey scholarship from Boston University, USA, in economic development and banking.
Dr. Syphoxay remains current in her fields of expertise as a researcher and lecturer within the Faculty of Economics at the National University of Laos, Vientiane, and advises many of our international partners, including the ITC, USAID, the World Bank, and IDEASm.
She is a critical contributor to a significant project in Disaster Risk Management and alignment with the UN sustainable development goals.
