Mr. Baidussenov is TSC Global's Country Director, and a director of the
Center for Strategic Initiatives (CSI). He is a highly experienced adviser with over 15 years of private sector experience in the oil and gas industry, the backbone of the rapid economic development in Kazakhstan. He understands regional economics, especially industries susceptible to currency fluctuations, exposed to external shocks and with limited opportunities for employment growth. He supports the strengthening and diversifying of the sector through upstream development, unlocking value through efficiency-based programs, and the need to encourage the adoption of environmental, social, governance reporting, and green finance.
His experience managing complex teams and projects during his nine years within the KazMunayGas group, advisory work on M&A transactions in the oil and gas sector, and preparation for IPOs make him a valuable resource for existing businesses and new market entrants. A graduate of Kazakh National University, Al-Farabi, he holds master’s and bachelor’s degrees, is a graduate of the prestigious London Business School - Executive Education Program, and is a participant in the annual training program for military financiers at the Naval Postgraduate School.
