As the former Managing Director of the New Zealand Stock Exchange (NZX), Bill Foster has a remarkable track record in leading the country's main provider of capital market services. He established the strategic vision, managed the operations, and spearheaded the growth initiatives of the exchange. During his tenure, the NZX reached record-breaking trading volumes, diversified its income sources, and improved its regulatory and technological competencies.

He has also contributed his capital market development expertise to the Abu Dhabi Securities Market, the Cambodian Securities and Exchange Commission, the Security and Exchange Commission in Sri Lanka, and the Capital Markets Modernization Project in Azerbaijan. Lately, he has been consulting the NZ Reserve Bank on monetary matters. Mr. Foster has a Masters of Commerce in Economics from the University of Canterbury.  (location: New Zealand)
